Loch View is a comfortable self-catering cottage overlooking Little Loch Roag in the district of West Uig, on the beautiful Isle of Lewis, off the north-west coast of Scotland
Recently renovated and newly available for letting, this cosy cottage sleeps five in three bedrooms. The cottage is warm and well-equipped, with a free-standing stove and a huge sundeck, and its elevated position gives a fine view southwards over the village and the loch.
The tiny crofting township of Enaclete is the perfect place to escape from the world, and Loch View is an excellent base for easy access to the many delights of our remote and friendly Hebridean community.
At 26 miles by good roads from Stornoway, we are well placed for a self-catering holiday exploring the beaches, mountains and townships of the west coast, ancient sites at Callanish and Doune Carloway, and traditional blackhouses at Garenin and Arnol.
Uig itself is rich in history and tradition and offers lots of wide open space for ramblers, birdwatchers, beach-goers, kayakers and boat-trippers. The Outer Hebrides have never been so popular, but here in Uig you can always find a beach to yourself.

There are many sights and sensations to explore in the Isle of Lewis and the adjoining Isle of Harris; see the Activities page to find out more.
We have availability over summer and autumn 2010; please enquire.
